This software is specially designed to activate SolidWorks 2017 SP5 Full Premium. To use this software, you need to install SolidWorks 2017 SP5. SolidWorks is a computer-aided design (CAD) program for engineers, designers, architects and other professionals in the manufacturing industry who are responsible for building physical products. The program's capabilities are claimed by its users to be unmatched by any other CAD program on the market today, while it has been criticized for its high cost of entry and lack of compatibility with older versions of Windows. It is part of the Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation. SolidWorks Corporation was formed in December1993 after the purchase of SolidWorks by Interex, Inc. (formerly "CORE Technology") of Seattle, Washington. This event marked the beginning of the first phase of SolidWorks history, as it became a product within CORE Technology's portfolio. During this phase, several key technologies were invented that are now considered fundamental to most 2D and 3D CAD applications today, including sketch-based modeling and parametric design. At this stage significant numbers of users started to appear outside North America, notably in Germany and Japan. The product's quality and feature set began to meet the expectations of its users. The product line was being marketed under both CORE Technology and Dassault Systèmes names, with the latter coined from the French words for "solid" and "work". In 2006, SolidWorks Corporation acquired CAD-Software.com Inc., a company that develops online application development solutions for businesses. In 2007, SolidWorks Corporation licensed some technologies developed at Cornell University for 3D non-linear modeling (NLM). The first phase of SolidWorks' history ended in early 2008, when Dassault Systèmes announced its intention to acquire CORE Technology. The second phase began in April 2008, when SolidWorks Corporation was acquired by Dassault Systèmes. During this time, the product line underwent an evolution to support greater productivity, proliferation of newer features and faster software updates. On June 25, 2010, Dassault Systèmes announced that it would re-form SolidWorks Corporation as a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes. Selected products were merged into the product line of Autodesk 3ds Max to serve users who needed more advanced CAD applications. After the acquisition by Autodesk, based on its subscription revenue model SolidWorks became Autodesk's most expensive CAD program. SolidWorks is used to design, engineer, and document three-dimensional parts, as well as 2D drawings. A wide range of mechanical components and systems can be designed, from everyday objects such as screws and eyeglasses to complex aerospace structures such as jet engine turbine blades. The program is used extensively by Tier 1 automotive, aerospace and defense companies. SolidWorks was recognized as "one of the top five products that help people do their jobs better" in PC Magazine's "Best Products of 1997" issue; however, many automotive firms continued to use 2D CAD systems until much later. cfa1e77820
